Cellar Door Poetry Journal
“Once a woman told me that colored flowers would seem more bright
if you added a few white flowers to give the colors definition.
Every petal of blue lupin is edged with white,
so that a field of lupins is more blue
than you can imagine.”
~ John Steinbeck
We've had to delay publication of the journal due to low submissions. At Dreamland, we strive to produce only the finest of book products and for this issue of Cellar Door Poetry we've had about a dozen submissions. The new edition will be out by June. Keep the submissions coming! If you are a new poet, this might especially be a great opportunity for you to get published.
Cellar Door poetry celebrates the beauty of words, and revels in the dance between dark and light, truth, evil, goodness, and the glorious experience of being alive.
We publish all forms and subjects of poetry, but will not publish work that promotes pornography or violence. Submit no more than five poems at a time, or two flash stories (500 words or less), to DreamlandBooks@inbox.com. Submit the pieces in the body of the e-mail.
We often comment on rejected poems. Our first edition will be in print and available through Dreamland and Amazon by June 2012.
